Our history

Since 1995, AltéAd has continued to grow and has become one of the French and European leaders in integrated logistics solutions.

Since it was created as a transport and lifting business, the Group has expanded its range of services with the aim of offering 360° solutions designed to support its clients in France and abroad.

Early days in transport and lifting

1995 – Acquisition of Roblin (a specialist transport, lifting and handling company)

1999-2001 – The Group steps up its growth rate, acquiring specialist transport companies Grandjouan Industries and Transports Bosc and lifting and handling companies France Levage and Cayon Levage

2001 – External growth continues with successive acquisitions of the companies Augizeau, Atlantitrans and Montalev Levage

Expansion of the business

2003 – AltéAd takes over Métareg, a major plant relocation and maintenance company to develop our industrial logistics services

2004 – Increased expertise with the acquisition of SPIM group companies (condition-based maintenance) and SIEM (nuclear sector)

European presence

2007 – Acquisition of Belgian specialist transporter Devriendt, located close to the Port of Zeebrugge, and creation of a logistics platform in Antwerp

Strengthened national network

2008 – The Group expands its operations in Western France with the acquisition of lifting specialists L.C.T. and Duranteau, as well as the transporter Pineau

2009 – After the successive acquisitions of Lorlev and Revel, the Group’s network now covers the whole of France with more than 60 sites
